Alberto M. Regueyra is a dedicated attorney which has spent the last thirteen (13) years representing homeowners against their property insurance carriers throughout the State of Florida. Born and raised in South Florida, Mr. Regueyra has a deep understanding of the region’s legal landscape. After graduating from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree at Florida International University where he developed a passion for the law. Following college, Mr. Regueyra earned his  Juris Doctor from The FIU College of Law , wherein he was named to the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, while also cementing commitment to practicing law in the region. After passing the Florida Bar in 2011, Mr. Regueyra practiced in a boutique law firm in Coral Gables handling a wide array of real estate matters, including property insurance, foreclosure and HOA disputes.

In 2014, Mr. Regueyra opened the law firm of Regueyra & Llerandi, PLLC, wherein he oversaw more than a thousand litigated files against property insurance companies. Mr. Regueyra secured more than thirty-seven (37) million dollars in recovery on behalf of homeowners for losses ranging from hurricanes to broken drain line water losses.

In 2024, Mr. Regueyra decided to open Regueyra Law, PLLC—A Property Insurance Law Firm, a law firm solely dedicated to the disputes and challenges homeowners face against their property insurance companies in this ever changing legal landscape. Based on his daily experience with insurance companies for more than a decade, it became apparent to Mr. Regueyra that homeowners require niche legal representation to maximize their recovery in times of needs. With a practice focusing on property insurance disputes,  Mr. Regueyra brings years of experience and a client-first approach to each case.
